Where is everything?

That is probably your first thought you had when you landed on the front page. We have implemented a drastic overhaul of the website and changed the focus of our mandate and you probably want to know why.

The main reason for all the restructuring is workload. Everyone who has helped to build this community has done it on a volunteer basis. The Draw Jams, Forums, Podcasts, and other things we ventured into only existed due to the passions of a few people. We have been in existence for over five years now and life has finally caught up with most of us.

So what is in store for the new Artery.ca?

Well, we still want to be a resource for creative people in Vancouver, so we have created an Events Page that you can check out all the cool art events going on around town. We are going to have more podcasts coming soon and will have a page dedicated to them. As for the Draw Jams, we will be holding them monthly with a renewed commitment to drawing, though we will still have room for the socializing.

We hope you enjoy the new site!

The Artery Team
